Avenir: Celebrating its 10th year on the Descriptive List, Avenir is a variety that delivers consistent performance year after year. It is a first choice very early variety for favourable and less favourable sites on the NIAB Descriptive List 2008.

Claxxon: First choice variety for favourable and less favourable sites on the NIAB Descriptive List 2008.

Gazelle: A first choice medium early variety on the NIAB Descriptive List 2008.

NK Bull: The highest yielding first choice variety on the NIAB favourable early and medium early Descriptive Lists 2008.

Paddy: A new variety with very high yields and good digestibility. UK National Listed in 2007, and a candidate for the NIAB Descriptive List in 2008.

 

NEW - maize variety selector

The Descriptive List can appear a bewildering prospect, with more than 80 varieties split into three different sections. This new, easy to use tool has been designed to make it much easier for maize growers to select NK varieties. Simply select the crop requirements and growing conditions that are relevant to your farm and the variety selector will list the most suitable NK varieties.
